My Blog Passport

Why I Blog:

About two years ago I tried a vegan muffin at a cafe in New Jersey. This muffin was so bad that I felt the world needed to know. That’s when I decided to put my picky palate and wonderfully wacky writing to work and start writing Sweet Tooth Vegan’s blog posts!

On this site I review vegan restaurants and recipes, and talk about my adventures traveling abroad. Hopefully, amid all of this, I can even make you laugh!
It sounds ambitious, but I believe in myself!

A little about me:

I am a native New Yorker who currently lives in Jersey City, New Jersey. I live with my adorable and yappy rescue dog named Lolita (aka Lolly.)

I am currently attending the Center for Modern Psychoanalytic Studies in NYC for my MA in psychoanalysis. My BA is in liberal arts, and I also received a certificate in creative arts therapy at The New School during that time. While going to school I also received my TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) certificate and went to a year of comedy school- yes, that’s a real thing. It was amazing!

Aside from all this, my hobbies are important to me! I enjoy playing guitar, writing songs, and I am also an urban biker!

Much of my time is spent at the gym. While I do enjoy jogging with Food Network on the screen, I definitely prefer weight training! I’m by no means a fitness expert, but I am there nearly everyday with my group of gym rats; pumping iron and sweating my buns off. After all, I do love to bake…. With all good things must come balance.

Traveling is another important aspect of my life. I’ve been to over 30 countries throughout the years. With one semester left of school, I am using this time as preparation for a career in travel writing. Aside from the beauty, adventure, and fun of travel, I also love meeting new people along the way!

Writing is my chosen method of expressing myself, my experiences, and sharing the things I love!

Since everyone asks, I have been a vegetarian since I was 11 years old. I became vegan on my 18th birthday. I’ve always loved animals tremendously, and try to do everything I can to help and protect them.

This little guy was a fighter! (Marlboro, NJ)

My goal is not to save the world or be the perfect human being, I just want to do my best and offer what I can to to make the world a more pleasant place to exist and coexist. I hope you’ll join me on my journey.
